How can we be saved?

In Acts 15, the early church faces an important question: Do we have to be a good enough person, follow enough rules, or do enough good things to be saved? The answer is clear: salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone.

This sermon explores why the gospel must be clear, why we can rest in what Jesus has already done, and how God’s grace frees us from the pressure of trying to earn His love or prove ourselves. Jesus lived the perfect life we could never live, died for our sins, and rose from the grave so that anyone who trusts in Him can be saved.

But grace doesn’t just change how we are saved, it changes how we live with one another. Because we have been given grace, we are called to pursue unity, lay down our freedoms when necessary, and love others well for the sake of the gospel.

The question for each of us is: Are we trying to earn what Jesus freely gives, or are we willing to rest in His grace? In this message:
