Welcome
Sunday morning worship services are held weekly on Sundays at 9 & 10:30AM. At each service, you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment you walk up to the building, you can expect:
A Warm Greeting
A heartfelt greeting is part of what makes a church a church. No matter what question you might have just ask. Our greeters are there to help you get settled and comfortable.
A Relaxed Environment
We value creating an environment where friendships can form and relationships deepen. We desire for you to have a real connection with God and others.
Conversation
Expect to be noticed. Expect people to say something like, “Hi, we haven’t met before, is this your first time?”. Expect people to reach out to you in love.
Worship
We will pray, sing, and give together as we gather for the preaching and public reading of Scripture. From time to time, we will celebrate baptisms for new believers and share in the Lord's supper as a church family.
Singing
We love all forms of music, from hymns to contemporary worship songs. We use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him.
Preaching
Each service features expository preaching as an inspiring and regular element.
FAQs
We recommend arriving between 8:45–9AM for our first service, or 10:15–10:30AM for our second. Our first service usually wraps up around 10:10–10:15, so if you arrive right at 10:15, you may catch the tail end of the earlier crowd leaving before the next service begins. Either window gives you time to park, get your kids checked in, and settle in without feeling rushed.
As you pull onto campus, continue down the main road until the road merges into the parking lot. Guest parking spots will be on your right. Parking attendants will direct you where to go.
Kids programming is available for ages birth – 5th grade during both service times in the Learning Center. Learn more about WCKids here.
We encourage you to wear what’s comfortable. Attenders typically wear business casual attire.
No. As our guest, you’ll never be asked or expected to give anything. If you see a giving box or hear about online giving, that’s simply for those who call West Cabarrus home and want to support the church long-term — it’s never a requirement or expectation for visitors. Come as you are, and give your full attention to just being there.
Our music is contemporary with some hymns mixed in — three songs to start, one to close. Standing and hand-raising happen, but neither is expected; sit or stand as you’re comfortable. No altar calls, no being singled out. Bring your coffee, and feel free to keep your kids with you in service if you’d rather not use Kids Ministry.
