Small Groups

Biblical Communities on Mission

Small Groups are the heart of community at West Cabarrus. These weekly gatherings bring believers together to grow as a biblical community on mission. Just like the early church, our groups share life, study God’s Word, pray, and serve together.

More than just a place to connect, Small Groups are where discipleship happens and where mission begins—launching us to live out the Gospel and make an impact in our neighborhoods and beyond.

When and where do groups meet?

Groups meet at various times and locations throughout the week. Most groups meet in the evenings, with several being on the church campus and others in homes.

What if I have children?

Details within each group will indicate whether or not childcare is available. It is also good to contact the leader in the Small Group to ask what the childcare details are, as they do vary between groups.

How long do groups meet during the year?

Small Groups begin in mid-August and meet through the first week of May. There are typically several weeks taken off during the Christmas and New Year’s season. During these off times, we offer Winter and Summer Classes on a variety of topics designed to encourage spiritual growth.

Do I need to be a partner at West Cabarrus Church to join a group?

No. Small Groups are open to attend, but we hope that being in a group leads to partnership.
